CREIGARD HOLIDAYS established in 1991

The remote North West of Sutherland is a breathtaking area of rugged mountain scenery, sheltered exquisite beaches of pale clean sands, rolling seas dotted with rocky islets, hidden lochans with trout, and a wealth of wildlife - perfect for walking, sightseeing and fishing. Our Bungalow and Cottage are only five minutes stroll from the seashore and situated up a private road in a quiet location against a backdrop of gentle, heather-clad hills, a small reed-edged lochan and has an open and expansive view over the waters of Lochinver Bay and the Minch. We encourage wildlife into the garden and there are many species of birds that can be spotted. In addition deer, foxes, pinemartens and even otters are regular visitors.

Lochinver is a village on the coast in the Assynt district of Sutherland. A few miles northeast is Loch Assynt which is the source of the River Inver.

The accommodation comprises an open plan lounge / dining room, making the most of the glorious views. It is attractively furnished with three-piece suite, colour satellite TV, DVD player and cassette radio, pine dining table and chairs. There is a Wi-Fi connection.

Our comfortable cottage, set in a secluded part of the garden, has a light and airy but cosy feel. Its large windows give you the views of heather-clad hills, the sea and distant mountains to enjoy.

Thank you for your warm and friendly welcome. Thank you for the massive effort you have made to allow others to enjoy the rugged scenery, tranquility and surprises of Sutherland (eg. the deer!). Thank you for the beautiful posies of garden flowers, the 'Wild Berries' stoneware and the crystal glasses. So thank you for giving us all the comforts of home and much, much more. Best wishes and thanks for the photos. Hope to see you again,
H&RG (Musselburgh)
